Abena is a Managing Associate at WTS Nobisfields.

Abena has extensive expertise in providing legal counsel to corporate organizations. She has over the years provided sound legal advice and directions to both multinational and local companies to help them avoid regulatory breaches.

She is well-versed in performing complex legal research, conducting legal due diligence, and drafting and review of commercial agreements. She has also represented several corporate clients in legal proceedings in areas such as corporate restructuring, financial services law, commercial and corporate law and employment law.

She also has experience in providing company secretarial services to both local and multinational companies including ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as well as facilitation of training programs on legal and compliance matters.

Abena is a Graduate Assistant at the University of Ghana School of Law where she assists the lecturers with teaching and research works.

Abena also previously worked as an Insurance Broker with Apex Insurance Brokers Ltd and has rich experience in the regulatory market

Abena holds the following qualifications:

• QCL from Ghana School of Law
• LLB from University of Ghana, Legon
• Advanced Diploma in Insurance (Chartered Institute of Insurance UK)
• BSc Business Administration (Insurance & Risk Management) (University of Ghana)

She is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK and the Ghana Bar Association.
