The Electronic Transfer Levy Act, 2022, has been enacted into law by the Parliament of Ghana
\nin its capacity as the country\u2019s law makers. The purpose of this law is to regulate and impose
\nan electronic transfer levy on all monies which are electronically transferred. This is being
\ndone by the government in their effort to broaden Ghana\u2019s tax base and, subsequently
\nincrease revenue mobilisation.
\nThe Electronic Transfer Levy Act, 2022 was assented to by the President of the Republic of
\nGhana on 31 March 2022 and came into force on 31 March 2022.<\/p>\n
